V6 Creo Parametric solution released from Theorem.

Theorem Solutions is pleased to announce the release of their third V6 solution for Creo Parametric.

Theorem’s bi-directional V6 <> Creo Parametric solution is now available, joining their growing V6 portfolio of CADverter format converter solutions which also include CADverters for V6 <> JT and V6 <> NX.

Theorem’s strong partnerships with Dassault Systemes & PTC, reputation for quality and robustness of product ensures that the new V6 <> Creo Parametric format converter will be well received by users of both Dassault Systemes and PTC Creo design applications as it enables direct use of data between V6 and Creo Parametric for the first time.

The V6 <> Creo Parametric CADverter is fully integrated within the V6 environment enabling bi-directional file and PDM collaboration scenarios. It can be used interactively or in batch mode depending upon a user’s requirements. As standard, this particular product has been designed specifically to be incorporated into process orientated operations and so is integrated and runs under the management of the V6 infrastructure.

Theorem’s CADverter reads and writes both V6 and PTC Creo data, converting assembly data (product structure) Exact Brep solids and surfaces, tessellated data, PMI (product manufacturing information) and colour. The V6 converted data can then be used anywhere within the V6 environment, in all applications (CATIA, DELMIA, SIMULIA, ENOVIA) enabling supply chains with mixed V6 and Creo environments the ability to collaborate more efficiently.

Theorem’s CADverter also provides the ability to convert Creo data (Creo Parametric and Creo View) into the 3dxml file format for collaboration with all applications collaborating through this format, such as CATIA, DELMIA, SIMULIA, ENOVIA, 3DVIA and 3DSWYM.

On-going compatibility with V6 and Creo is assured through Theorem’s licensing of API technology from both application sources.

Licensed versions of both V6 and PTC Creo applications are required for use with the minimum prerequisite releases:  V6R2013 for V6 and Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 4 & 5 and Creo 1.0 being supported. (Creo 2.0 coming soon)

Available for immediate shipment, Theorem’s format converter for Creo Parametric is offered as a bi-directional configuration for unrestricted data transfer between the two formats V6 and Creo.
