Theorem’s Publish 3D products on display at WEAF 2016

Theorem Solutions exhibited at the WEAF Technology Showcase on 27th April 2016. Held at Renishaw plc, the West of England Aerospace Forum (WEAF), was an opportunity for Theorem to showcase our Publish 3D – 3D PDF products and solutions to some of the UK’s leading aerospace and engineering organisations.

Theorem’s Publish 3D – 3D PDF solutions enables the creation of documents enriched with interactive 3D content directly from native CAD applications in to the PDF format for CATIA V5, NX, Creo and JT users.

The Publish 3D product suite supports Model Based Engineering (MBE), helping to improve and streamline Design to Manufacturing processes by replacing the traditional 2D drawing with a completely digital method of communication.

Anybody with access to the freely available Adobe Reader®, either on a PC, tablet or smartphone can access the interactive 3D data and are able to view, mark up and interrogate the document without the use of specialist CAD software, allowing the technology to be easily integrated and effectively become the common denominator for collaboration and communication.

The simplicity of 3D PDF, low cost, and ease of use allows for the integration of departments, customers and suppliers into the product lifecycle process which in turn leads to reduced lead times, fewer mistakes and better products.

We also demonstrated a range of our latest CADverter, Multi-CAD and Visualize 3D products and solutions, that offer direct translation of CAD to CAD, CAD to Visualization and interactive design-in- context solutions, as Theorem believe that there is no one single solution for collaboration. The right solution is determined by the individual use case and not by a particular format.
