Theorem will be presenting 3D PDF products at UKIEF 2016

Theorem Solutions will be exhibiting at the UK Intelligent Engineering Forum on 22nd June 2016. Held at the Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC) in Coventry, UKIEF is an opportunity for us to showcase our Publish 3D – 3D PDF products and solutions to some of the UK’s leading engineering organisations.

Our Technical Director Trevor Leeson will also be taking to the stage (Room 8, 1.40pm-2.10pm) to demonstrate how our 3D PDF products work and explain how the 3D PDF format is helping to open up communication channels throughout organisations and supply chains by re-using CAD data in downstream activities.

Theorem’s Publish 3D – 3D PDF solutions enables the creation of documents enriched with interactive 3D content directly from native CAD applications in to the PDF format for CATIA V5, NX, Creo and JT users.

The Publish 3D product suite supports Model Based Engineering (MBE), helping to improve and streamline Design to Manufacturing processes by replacing the traditional 2D drawing with a completely digital method of communication.

We will also be demonstrating a range of our latest CADverter, Multi-CAD and Visualize 3D products and solutions, that offer direct translation of CAD to CAD, CAD to Visualization and interactive design-in-context solutions, as Theorem believe that there is no one single solution for collaboration. The right solution is determined by the individual use case and not by a particular format.

Making the most of your installed CATIA licenses when working with JT data

We are pleased to announce the latest release of Visualize 3D V19.2 for CATIA V5i < > JT.

Our CATIA V5i < > JT visualization solution allows CATIA users to continue working whilst reading or writing JT data without needing access to their CATIA V5 licenses.

Licenses of vendor specific CAD applications are expensive resources to purchase and also to maintain. It doesn’t help when they are tied up for long periods of time on single design activities or when there aren’t enough available licenses to be able to multi-task different design projects.

CATIA users who also have to work with data supplied in the JT format from customers and suppliers commonly find that they require access to the license of their CATIA application in order to translate the JT data into a useable CATIA format but ultimately end up tying up their CATIA licence.

Our CATIA V5i < > JT solution helps to increase the productivity of CATIA user by saving time whilst at the same time freeing up expensive CAD licenses.

Our CATIA V5i <> JT is a bi-directional direct database converter between the Dassault Systems’ V5 modelling application and the JT file format used by the Siemens VisMockUp visualization product. It has been developed using the Spatial Interop Development Environment and supports all CATIA V5 revisions from V5 R15 to V5-6R2015, as well as all versions of JT.

Theorem’s strategic partnership with Spatial and Siemens ensures that there is a parallel development between the latest releases of CATIA V5 and JT, and our Visualize 3D products, allowing us to continue to provide quality and robust data solutions for CATIA V5 and JT users.

Theorem’s range of products for the Creo user will be on display at PTC LiveWorx 2016

With LiveWorx 2016 being the largest networking and education event for the PTC user community, it is the perfect opportunity for Theorem, as a PTC partner, to showcase our latest Creo and Creo View productivity enhancing solutions.

This year’s event takes place in Boston, USA from 6th-9th May. If you drop by the Theorem booth (C5), we will be demonstrating the latest version of our Publish 3D suite of products for Creo users. Our Chief Technology Officer, Mark Stowe, will also be presenting ‘Publishing 3D PDF Documents from Creo’ on Wednesday 8th June, from the Partner Demo and Product Showcase Theatre in the Xtropolis Expo hall.

Publish 3D is our 3D PDF solution for the Creo user. It lets you share any interactive 3D model with anyone in the world without the requirement for CAD viewing software. Theorem’s Publish 3D – 3D PDF solutions enable the creation of documents enriched with interactive 3D content directly from native CAD applications in to the PDF format. Come and see how interactive 3D PDFs are revolutionising knowledge sharing and collaboration inside organisations, and up and down the supply chain.

The Publish 3D product suite supports Model Based Engineering (MBE), helping to improve and streamline Design to Manufacturing processes by replacing the traditional 2D drawing with a completely digital method of communication.

Theorem’s Visualize 3D products for Creo users will also be on display.

Visualize 3D products support lightweight data formats, including Creo View, focusing specifically on the direct translation of 3D CAD data from mechanical CAD systems for the purpose of Visualization which enables users to work with and share data directly between different CAD and Visualization applications.

We will also be demonstrating the newest versions of our Creo to NX and V5 translators that offer direct translation of CAD to CAD and interactive design-in- context solutions, as Theorem believe that there is no one single solution for collaboration. The right solution is determined by the individual use case and not by a particular format.
