Theorem’s latest Visualize 3D Inventor to JT supports Inventor 2019

We are pleased to announce the latest release of our V21.3 Inventor to JT Visualize 3D translator supporting Inventor 2017, 2018 and 2019, and up to and including the JT file format version 10.0.

The Inventor to JT translator has been developed using the Autodesk Inventor Development Environment and translates up to and including the latest versions of Inventor data into the JT file format. The translator can be run using the freely available Inventor View application as a minimum system requirement, so access to a full license of Inventor is not required. The translator processes all JT assembly types, regardless of data structure.

Our Visualize 3D products are aimed at creating visualization data for users of digital mock-up, virtual reality or desktop applications and support the translation of assembly structure, geometry and attributes.

Our new UI helps the development and streamlining of translation and downstream processes by allowing engineering data to be filtered, viewed, interrogated, manipulated and translated interactively or in batches with the ability to publish user specific documentation.

Theorem’s strategic partnerships with Autodesk and Siemens  ensures that there is a parallel development between the latest releases of Inventor, JT and our Visualise 3D products, allowing us to continue to provide data solutions to the Inventor and JT communities.

Theorem’s latest CADverter supports CATIA V5 R28 and NX 12

We are pleased to announce the release of their latest CADverter for CATIA V5 > NX users.

This uni-directional CADverter can also be licensed with our NX > CATIA V5 CADverter to create a bi-directional translator.

Integrated within the CATIA application, V21.2 supports all revisions of CATIA V4, CATIA V5-6R2015- V5-6R2018 and NX 10, NX 11 and NX 12.

New features and enhancements in V21.2 include

  • Improved processing of Instance Colours to enhance the quality for users
  • Interactive processing enhanced to allow importing of CGR files into NX, enabling users of CGR to take advantage of the interactive processing method.
  • Support for processing NX containing subordinate JT files, which enables users of combined NX / JT assemblies to process them in one translation to CATIA V5, making it more efficient for users of this type of data.
  • Improvements to the processing of PMI view associations, so when PMI is read from CATIA V5 it is processed to the correct views in NX.

CADverter products translate assembly structure, geometry, attributes and, where available, 3D Product Manufacturing Information (PMI) and Metadata between CATIA V5 and NX, supporting Model Based Definition (MBD) processes.

The aim of the CADverter is to allow the user to translate any data that they have held in a CATIA format and make it usable in NX for various use cases, whether the downstream user wants a lightweight reference part to model around, or a precise copy of the data translated to allow measurement and editing of translated models.

Our strategic partnerships with Dassault Systemes and Siemens ensures that there is parallel development between the latest releases of CATIA V5 and NX, and Theorem’s CADverter products, allowing us to continue to provide data solutions for the CAD community.

Discover the new frontier of XReality collaboration at Digitalrealities.com

Digitalrealities.com is now live!

Launched specifically for our Digital Realities product suite supporting the latest immersive XR technologies (Augmented, Mixed and Virtual Reality).

Learn how to use your 3D CAD and PLM assets in the latest data and device agnostic task-focused experiences for Design, Manufacturing and Production, as well as the complementing and innovative Visualization Pipeline technology.

The Visualization Pipeline is a server based technology that rapidly processes and delivers CAD and PLM assets to both Theorem’s Experiences, or your own Experiences and Applications, optimised and output for consumption by a range of applications – 3D Engines, Photorealistic Rendering, Styling and Lightweight viewers.

Our Digital Realities suite enables engineering and manufacturing companies to leverage and work with existing 3D CAD and PLM assets at full scale in a 3D spatial context (spatial computing), helping to improve processes, and reduce the cognitive gap that exists between the real and digital worlds.

Our AR, MR and VR experiences are available for a wide range of low cost, portable devices – tablets, smartphones and Head Mounted Displays (HMD’s). And because they are data and device agnostic, you can use the same data across all devices.

Having data and device neutrality will protect your CAD and PLM investments even as technologies and devices develop and change.

Our Digital Realities product suite for XR is bringing a new dimension to traditional collaboration methods.

To support the launch of digitalrealities.com Theorem Solutions have commissioned a White Paper that is available to download “The Next Frontier of Collaboration”.

Create and share Parasolid data independently of CATIA V5 with Theorem’s latest CADverter

We are pleased to announce the latest release of CADverter (V21.2) for CATIA V5i <> Parasolid.

Designed specifically for companies who have limited or no access to the CATIA V5 application, but who need to create or read Parasolid data from CATIA V5 and vice versa, our CATIA V5i <> Parasolid CADverter is a high quality, cost effective translation solution designed to help solve the issue of working with and sharing incompatible data formats.

Using CADverter, CATIA V5 users can create and consume Parasolid data without needing access to a license of the CATIA V5 application.

Our CATIA V5i <> Parasolid is a bi-directional direct database converter between the Dassault Systems’ V5 modelling application and the Siemens’ Parasolid geometric modelling kernel. It has been developed using the Spatial Interop Development Environment and supports all CATIA V5 revisions up to V5-6R2018, and Parasolid V7 to V29.

Our CATIA V5i <> Parasolid solution helps support collaboration between companies, their customers and suppliers, enabling original 3D mechanical design data to be re-used in downstream activities helping to increase data quality and reduce overall project costs.

Our strategic partnership with Spatial and Siemens ensures that there is a parallel development between the latest releases of CATIA V5 and Parasolid, and Theorem’s CADverter products, allowing us to continue to provide quality and robust data solutions for CATIA V5 and Parasolid users.

Theorem’s latest CADverter enables you to create and share NX data independently of CATIA V5

We are pleased to announce the latest release of CADverter V21.2 for CATIA V5i to NX.

Our CATIA V5i to NX is a uni-directional direct database converter between the Dassault Systemes’ V5 and Siemens’ NX modelling applications. It can be packaged with our NX to CATIA V5i to create a bi-directional product. It has been developed using the Spatial (Dassault) Interop Development Environment and supports all CATIA V5 revisions from V5 R15 to V5-6R2017, and NX 10, 11 and 12.

Designed for companies who have limited or no access to the CATIA V5 application, but who need to create or read NX data, the CATIA V5i to NX CADverter is a high quality, cost effective translation solution designed to help solve the issue of working with and sharing incompatible data formats.

NX users who also have to work with data supplied in the CATIA format from customers and suppliers commonly find that they require access to a license of CATIA in order to translate the data in to NX. Using the CADverter, users can create NX data without needing access to a license of the CATIA V5 application.

Our CATIA V5i to NX solution helps to increase the productivity of the CATIA user by saving time and freeing up CAD licenses. It supports collaboration between OEM’s and their customers and suppliers, enabling original 3D mechanical design data to be re-used in downstream activities helping to increase data quality and reduce overall project costs.

Our strategic partnership with Spatial (Dassault Systemes) and Siemens ensures that there is a parallel development between the latest releases of CATIA V5 and NX, and Theorem’s CADverter products, allowing us to continue to provide quality and robust data solutions for CATIA V5 and NX users.
