Theorem’s 3D PDF and JT solutions supporting MBD at 3DCIC 2016

The team from Theorem will be heading to Golden, Colorado for the 2016 3D Collaboration and Interoperability Congress (CIC) on 25th-26th October 2016.

With 3DCIC being the only vendor neutral event that addresses collaboration and interoperability across industries in product development, manufacturing and business communications, it is the perfect opportunity for us to unveil and demonstrate our latest productivity enhancing solutions for 3D PDF, JT, Multi-CAD and STEP all with support for Model Based Definition (MBD) processing.

As an independent company, with strong, long standing business relationships with all major CAD vendors, we are able to objectively offer best in class data exchange solutions and services. Our broad portfolio supports CAD, Visualization and Publishing formats, with additional support for the processing of Model Based Definition information from native CAD in to a variety of formats: 3D PDF, 3DXML, Creo View and JT. Theorem is in the best position to help meet many use case requirements for organizations of all sizes whilst reducing costs, time to manufacture, improving quality and safeguarding Intellectual Property.

Using lightweight data formats and interactive documentation that support MBD as a means to communicate design intent through to manufacturing is helping to improve and accelerate design, manufacturing and inspection processes. It can also save on CAD license costs, resources and improve communications.

We will be demonstrating the latest versions of our Publish 3D – 3D PDF Publishing products which enable the creation of documents enriched with interactive 3D content directly from native CAD data in to the PDF format;  the Visualize 3D suite offers users direct translation capabilities of 3D CAD data in to lightweight formats for the purpose of Visualization, as well as Multi-CAD for CATIA users needing to work with ‘foreign’ data from within their design environments without the need for translation.
