Theorem are teaming up with AREA at AR and VR World 2018

At 2018’s AR and VR World on 12th– 14th June (as part of TechXLR8 and London Tech Week), we will be joining forces with AREA at the ExCel, London, to showcase our latest Visualization Experience app for Augmented, Mixed and Virtual Reality.

We have recently released our Visualization Experience app to utilize CAD and PLM data assets in Augmented, Mixed and Virtual reality as part of our Digital Realities product portfolio.

We currently provide experiences for:

  • Augmented Reality: Android, Windows 10 and iOS based devices
  • Mixed Reality: Microsoft HoloLens
  • Virtual Reality: HTC Vive and Oculus Rift

These experiences can also merge data from other databases: ERP, MES and CRM along with proprietary databases to further add value to Digital Realities.

Our data and device agnostic Visualization Experience is the perfect app to help you start to answer the ‘ifs’, the ‘whys’ and the ‘buts’ associated with deploying these new technologies within day to day engineering and manufacturing.

The challenge is deciding which technology is best for you and how do you start your journey?

Our aim is to get you thinking about the impact that these new technologies can have on your organisation. How using proof of concept for each device type will help to define uses cases and buy-in based on established business processes, whilst leveraging existing CAD and PLM assets. Most importantly, why you should remain device agnostic in an ever evolving digital realm.

We recently hosted a webinar on the topic which is available to view upon registration:

http://www.theorem.com/Digital-Realities/pr-starting-the-ar-mr-vr-journey.htm

Our Visualization Experience app must be ‘experienced’ in order to realise its potential, and you will be able to have hands-on demonstrations at the Theorem stand within the AREA pavilion.

By putting these low cost devices into the hands of everybody, and democratising the use of AR, MR and VR, Theorem’s Visualization Experiences are opening up an entirely new way to interact with Engineering and Manufacturing data up and down the supply chain, in all areas, including: Design, Manufacturing, Assembly, Training, Service and Digital Twin.

Start your AR, MR and VR journey in Engineering at Siemens PLM Connections 2018

We will be attending this year’s Siemens PLM Connections in Phoenix, USA, from 4th– 7th June 2018.

As a long standing Siemens PLM solution partner and Vendor Member of the JT Open initiative, the team from Theorem will be on stand #126 to showcase our latest PLM productivity enhancing solutions for the Siemens NX and JT user.

Our widely used Data Exchange and Supply Chain Collaboration solutions for NX and JT are complimented by our 3D PDF publishing and Visualization tools that all support MBD for downstream processes.

You can now also utilize those same CAD and PLM assets in the latest Augmented (AR), Mixed (MR) and Virtual (VR) Reality devices with our data and device agnostic Visualization Experience Application – part of our ‘Digital Realities’ product suite.

Our Publish 3D – 3D PDF suite enables you to publish your NX and JT data to interactive 3D PDF documents that can be shared internally and externally throughout your supply chain.

Whereas our Multi-CAD plugin allows you to insert JT, NX and Creo files into a CATIA design environment, work with them, whilst maintaining associativity in CATIA back to the original JT, NX and Creo formats.

If you need your CAD assets in a lightweight data format such as 3DXML, JT or Creo View, then our Visualize 3D product suite focuses specifically on the direct translation of 3D CAD data from mechanical CAD systems for the purpose of Visualization.

All of which can be reused and optimised for ‘Digital Realities’. At stand #126 you will be able to ‘experience’ our Mixed Device Visualization Experience Application developed to run in the latest digital technologies:

  • Augmented Reality (AR) – Windows 10, Android and iOS Tablets and Phones
  • Mixed Reality (MR) – Microsoft HoloLens
  • Virtual Reality (VR) – HTC Vive and Oculus Rift

If you haven’t yet started thinking about which technology or device is right for your CAD and PLM assets, then the Visualization Experience is the perfect app to help you start to answer the ‘ifs’, the ‘whys’ and the ‘buts’ associated with deploying these new technologies within day to day Engineering and Manufacturing.

Theorem Solutions to demonstrate Augmented (AR), Mixed (MR) and Virtual Reality (VR) App at Develop3D Live 2018

We are back at Develop3D Live this year and are excited to be exhibiting as a Gold sponsor. You can find us at stand #54/55 in the Mead Gallery.

Taking place on 20th March 2018 at Warwick Arts Centre, Warwick University, Develop3D Live is the perfect opportunity for us to demonstrate our latest Multi-Device Visualization Experience Application for:

  • Augmented Reality– Windows 10 and Android tablets and phones
  • Mixed Reality– Microsoft HoloLens
  • Virtual Reality– HTC Vive and Oculus Rift

Our Principal Technical Consultant Trevor Leeson will be speaking (10.50am in the Oculus Theatre) about how to start your Augmented, Mixed and Virtual Reality journey in Engineering and Manufacturing.

We’ve been helping engineering and manufacturing companies to leverage the value of their CAD and PLM data assets and processes for over 25 years and have recently released a data and device agnostic Visualization Experience application to utilize those data assets for Augmented, Mixed and Virtual reality devices – part of our Digital Realities product portfolio.

The Visualization Experience is a single application built from the ground up using a gaming graphics engine to produce stunning graphical representations of your data, which is a real game changer compared to the world of traditional CAD graphics and visualization.

By being data and device agnostic, the application allows you to use the same data, in the same visualization application, on ALL of the different low-cost devices. The application can be downloaded and installed on each device in minutes.

These low-cost devices are bringing an entirely new dimension to the way you can interact with your Engineering and Manufacturing data, democratising the use of AR, MR and VR and complementing the use of Caves and Powerwall’s by putting the technology in the hands of everybody.

Our Visualization Experience must be ‘experienced’ in order to realise the potential, and you will be able to have hands-on demonstrations on stand #54/55. Information on our Publish 3D – 3D PDF, Visualize 3D, Multi-CAD and CADverter products and solutions will also be available.
