We are a sponsor at the Siemens PLM World Regional User Group in Detroit

We are proud to be a sponsor at the Regional User Group conference of Siemens PLM World users in Detroit, USA on 8th October 2015 and will be demonstrating the latest versions of the Publish 3D and Visualize 3D suite of products for NX and JT users at booth #15.

Publish 3D enables the creation of documents enriched with interactive 3D content directly from native CAD data in to the PDF file format allowing the user to share interactive documentation within anyone who has access to Adobes freely available Acrobat Reader.

Theorem will also be available to offer expert advice on how best to work with CATIA and Creo data using their world class CADverter translations solutions, and Visualize 3D product suite offering users direct translation capabilities of 3D CAD data in to lightweight formats for the purpose of Visualization. We also offer solutions for other data exchange solutions such as CAD and PLM migration, Data Exchange Automation and Long Term Data Archiving.

The conference offers information and updates on all of the Siemens PLM software applications, including Teamcenter, NX, Tecnomatix and Teamcenter Visualization amongst others.

As a sponsor, and a long standing Siemens PLM solution partner and Vendor Member of the JT Open initiative, the team are looking forward to showcasing our latest PLM productivity enhancing solutions for the Siemens NX and JT user.

V18.3 Publish 3D for JT to CATIA Composer released

Our latest Publish 3D V18.3 is now available with new and improved product features and enhancements for the CATIA Composer user needing to work with JT data.

The Publish 3D range provides interactive, batch and command line interfaces for CATIA Composer users to directly access JT data independently of any JT products, is self-contained and version independent for improved ease of use.

Composer users can now open JT data including geometry, assemblies, product structure, metadata and product manufacturing information. The system is very quick and easy to learn and use with functionality driven from a pull down menu aiding the creation of assembly procedures, technical illustrations, interactive 3D product experiences, training materials, marketing materials, sales tools and more.

JT-Catia-Composer

Working within the Dassault Systèmes’ Composer architecture, there are two additional ways for the Composer user to incorporate JT data; multiple batch processing of JT is accommodated by using a “Sync” interface and a command line interface enables integration with PLM applications through Enterprise Sync.

V18.3 supports 3DVIA Composer (up to and inc.2015), CATIA Composer (up to and inc 2016x) alongside API support for Dassault’s MultiCAD and JT’s Jtk 7.1.5 which can output Composer data.

Additional support has been added to a number of functions. There is improved view states support for geometry and PMI, along with support added for 3DVIA Assembly PMI and CATIA Composer, and enhanced support for Large Assembly Processing (LAP), and PLMXML assemblies are now supported with the addition of PLMXML Read support.

The ability to turn off the reading of PMI model views and improved attribute display for the JT imports are also new V18.3 features.

With the growing trend to re-use 3D design data across business enterprises, the integration of Publish 3D and Composer enables users across the enterprise to work with JT files to meet and overcome longstanding business challenges of reducing costs, improving quality and reducing timescales and delivers tangible business benefits.

Theorem are headed to Phoenix for GPDIS 2015

We have been invited to attend Boeing’s 2015 Global Product Data Interoperability Summit taking place in Phoenix, Arizona 28/9/2015- 01/10/2015. Our participation underscores our commitment to providing first-class interoperability solutions for the worldwide aerospace industry.

The Theorem Solutions team will be available on booth 7 to discuss the broad range of issues associated with new developments in the world of interoperability and we will be showcasing our latest Publish 3D and Multi-CAD productivity solutions

See Multi-CAD in action. This amazing plugin allows you to insert JT, NX and CREO files, into your CATIA session, and work on them, whilst maintaining associativity in CATIA back to the original JT, NX and CREO formats.

Publish 3D, our 3D PDF publishing suite of products will also be showcased. Imagine being able to share any interactive 3D model with anyone in the world without the requirement for CAD viewing software.  Come and see for yourself how interactive 3D PDFs are revolutionising knowledge sharing and collaboration inside organisations and up and down the supply chain.

We will also be available to offer expert advice on our range of CAD, Viz and STEP translators as well as data solutions including CAD and PLM migration, Data Exchange Automation and Long Term Data Archiving Solutions which have wide aerospace applicability and promise significant benefits to aerospace OEMs and supply chain networks.
