Latest Visualize 3D-CATIA V5 to Creo View translator supporting CATIA V5 R25 and 3D PDF Publishing

We are pleased to announce the release of their latest V19.2 Visualize 3D for CATIA V5 to Creo View users.

V19.2 now supports up to and including CATIA V5 R18-21, V5-6R2012-2015 and Creo View 3.1, and has an additional add-on module available to create interactive 3D PDF documentation from visualization data.

Some of the latest features and enhancements new to V19.2 include:

  • 3D PDF Add on- the ability to save as a 3D PDF from either a recipe file setting or a job file has been added (requires an optional Theorem License.)
  • Support for the new Theorem Unified Interface (UI).

With the addition of the 3D PDF add-on module users are now able to publish their visualization data directly to an interactive 3D PDF document for use in downstream processes so that CAD and visualization data can now be made accessible beyond the realms of just the Engineering department.

Using Theorem’s Visualize 3D V19.2 as a direct conversion tool between CATIA V5 to Creo View reduces processing time, simplifies integration and retains accuracy of the model.

The CATIA V5 to Creo View suite helps to secure your Intellectual Property, but at the same time supports a rich enough set of design data intelligence so that suppliers have all of the information required to complete their job.

Our Visualize 3D brand supports lightweight data formats with a product focus specifically on the direct translation of 3D CAD data from mechanical CAD systems for the purpose of Visualization, enabling users to work with and share data directly between different CAD and Visualization applications and are aimed at creating visualization data for users of digital mock-up, virtual reality or desktop applications.

With over 20 years industrial use, Theorem’s product robustness and quality is well proven, reducing costs and risks associated to accessing the wrong version of data by integrating the publishing process into all related business processes.

Theorem were at ProSTEP iViP Symposium

This year’s ProSTEP iViP Symposium was held in Stuttgart, Germany on 20th– 21st April 2016. The team from Theorem Solutions were there to showcase our latest PLM productivity enhancing solutions.

We were demonstrating our 3D DPF product suite, which is for the creation of documents for distribution that contain interactive 3D content. It is a publishing solution for organisations who design with mechanical CAD or who want to extend the use of their visualization data to create interactive 3D documentation.

Our 3D PDF suite allows those using CAD or Visualization formats, including CATIA V5, NX, Creo Parametric, JT and 3DEXPERIENCE, to embed their 3D geometry from one of these formats into a PDF file, to create a fully interactive 3D PDF document that can be accessed by anybody with Adobe Reader.

The use of 3D PDF means that anybody can now consume, view and mark-up 3D data contained within a document format, eliminating the need to install specialist viewing software or to be trained to use specialist tools.

Our CATIA V5 Multi-CAD for JT solution were also on show.

Multi-CAD focuses on enabling CATIA V5 or 3DEXPERIENCE users to work with source mechanical CAD or visualization data, such as JT data, inside of CATIA without the need for external translation.

Theorem’s Multi-CAD application validates the integrity of the data as it comes into the design application whilst keeping an associative link back to the native source data. Using Multi-CAD offers a greater level of security and protection as the link to the source data is a direct link without the need to leave the application or use 3rd party external applications. This also removes any errors that can occur from potentially working with old, out of date data.

Theorem’s Multi-CAD application system is a low cost and efficient solution to the problems that can be encountered when a CATIA user needs to work on projects where other CAD or Visualization data needs to be regularly worked on inside of CATIA.

Both 3D PDF and Multi-CAD products support the introduction of assembly structure, geometry, attributes, 3D Product Manufacturing Information (PMI) and Metadata from native CAD and Visualization data with additional support for the processing of Model Based Definition (MBD) information from native CAD.

Theorem were also available to offer expert advice on our range of CAD, Visualization and STEP translators as well as data solutions including CAD and PLM migration, Data Exchange Automation and Long Term Data Archiving Solutions.

Theorem believe that there is no one single solution for collaboration. The right solution is determined by the individual use case and not by a particular format.
